Youth Conflict Resolution Sessions 

Sessions are designed for Learners to obtain the needed skills and tools to handle personal, family and peer-related conflicts.

They obtain information and hands-on experiences:

  • Empathy
  • Relationship building
  • Anger management
  • Decision-making and critical thinking
  • Enhances leadership
  • Builds Self-esteem and confidence
  • Improves social skills

Learners are exposed to global issues, history of conflict, and peace building. Each Learner receives a certificate of completion at the end of each session. Students meet with Community Partners to maintain support and provide opportunities for growth and success.

Youth Mediation  Peer Mediators Club

A type of conflict resolution in which trained Student Mediators/ Leaders; are encouraged to speak out against Bullying or the mistreatment of others; not to be a bystander or give in to negative peer pressure. Peer Mediators can act as a neutral or third party to help their peers work together to resolve everyday disputes with support.

The Peer Mediators Club or program is housed within the school and is supported by a Registered Mediator and the Schools Counselor or Social Worker. In some schools, a Disciplinary staff provides support to the program. Some clubs choose to operate after school.

Peer Mediators may meet once or twice per month to maintain skills, discuss disciplinary concerns, share information, and create ways to promote Peer Mediation and gain participation.

Students receive a Certificate of Peer Mediation Club completion and Membership.  Donate today!!
